Therapy
What age children does Flip treat?
We specialize in treating children from birth to school age. However, we have worked with kids well into their teenage years.
How long is the typical occupational therapy session?
Standard sessions are scheduled for an hour and contain about 50 minutes of therapy. The final 10 minutes are used for consulting with parents.
Why does it look like my child is playing during therapy?
Our core methodology is to use play-based, child-centered activities for therapy. Based on clinical experience and evidence-based research, these activities are a both a motivating and effective tool.
Scheduling
Will a therapist be able to see my child at a specific time?
We cannot guarantee a specific time slot on a specific day will be available. We will try and accommodate scheduling requests the best we can.
Payment and Billing
How do I pay for therapy sessions?
We accept Medicaid, insurance and private pay. If we're not in-network with your insurer, we can provide you with a superbill. See more information about how to pay on our payment options page.
When are services billed?
Payment is due in full for all services at the time they are rendered.
